Which factor plays a greater role in shaping your future career choice: your genuine interest and passion for the field, or the financial benefits and stability it can provide? In your response, explain which one you prioritize and why, and consider how this decision might impact your long-term happiness, motivation, and overall quality of life.

Prompt: I think that it is a mix of both my passions and my desire to be financially stable. In my opinion I think that when I plan to choose a career I want to do something that I am interested in. This is because if I choose a job that I have no interest in, I will be miserable for the rest of my time at that job. I think that following a path that I am interested in will make it so that I actually want to come to work. Though financial issues are a problem they are something that I can always work around, unlike my enjoyment which I can't just work around.

Summary: Today we worked on our projects.

Reflection: I think it is important to follow a career that you find interest in because your job is something that you will be in for a long time. This is something that if you don't enjoy coming to your life will become miserable. If you hate where you work, you won't want to go there, and thus you won't make money.

Discuss something meaningful or memorable you experienced over the break, or reflect on what you felt most thankful for during that time.

As the first semester comes to an end, take time to reflect on your learning and growth in this course. In a well-developed response, explain what you enjoyed most about the class, identify the project or assignment you found most engaging, and discuss which aspect of the course you connected with the most (such as poetry, fiction, writing, or discussion). Finally, reflect on one area where you feel you need additional support or improvement as we move into the spring semester.

In "The Lamb" and "The Tyger", both poems suggest that beauty and danger can come from the same source. Describe a time when something or someone you admired also scared or challenged you. How did that experience change the way you see the world or the idea of “goodness”?
