Throughout your classmates' presentations, you were exposed to a variety of cultural foods and traditions. How did these presentations shape your understanding of different cultures? Share your opinion on what stood out most.

 Prompt: these presentations better helped me understand how different cultures celebrate different Traditions around the world.  throughout all the presentations there were many different similarities in the sense of holidays.  but the traditional food that is most commonly found at those holidays was different for each person.  it was interesting to understand how different cultures celebrate specific holidays differently and even if they celebrate the holidays the same way how the food is different.

Summary:  today we presented our projects

Reflection:  when looking at other cultures food and how they celebrate holidays I find it very interesting to just see how a difference in  culture can affect how the holiday is celebrated and what kind of food is present there.

 prompt: Over the break I went to help volunteer at a local food shelter. Doing this was something that I am regularly doing this year, but I hadn't done it over Thanksgiving break before. The time at which I helped out was the day before Thanksgiving so it was super busy. Doing this was super memorable because I was able to help the people in my community get the food that they need to live. This made me feel so thankful for the resources I already have that allow for me to have food, but also I felt really thankful that places like the food shelter exist to help people.  Summary: Today we read letters 46-50 in the book.  Reflection: I think that it is really important to realize what you are thankful for in life. If you spend some time reflecting on what is good in your life and what you should be thankful for, it allows you to realize the good in your life and the things that are good for you.

 Prompt: I spent my break spending time with my family. I find the aspect of family to be very important so I made sure to spend to most time I could being with them. I also spent my time with my friends because I value my friendship with them. Overall I spent a lot of time with people doing various different activities and had a really good time.  Summary: Today we wrote goals for 2026 Reflection: It is important to spend time with the people you love when you have time to do so. This allows me to increase the relationships that I have with them and keep the ones that I already have.  Prompt: The thing that I most enjoyed about the class was the group projects that we got to do. I loved the people that I worked with in those projects and it allowed for me to spend time with them in the class which made it so much fun. Overall I don't think that there is really an area that I need help with. The assignments in the class were always something that I could manage, the only thing that I needed help with was making sure that I did the assignments, but I have already communicated a strategy with my friends to help make sure that I am on top of my assignments.  Summary: Today I slept in and I was able to finish all of the work I had to do for the rest of the semester.  Reflection: Now that we are at the end of the year it is important to look back and see all of the things that went well and didn't go well in the semester to help you communicate with your teachers for next year to see if they can help you make the year a better one!
