 Prompt: the po boy sandwiches. These sandwiches embody a variety of different cultures from all around the world. In the documentary the man explains how his grandparents taught him to make the sandwich and how culturally important it is to new Orleans. These sandwiches combine a bunch of different cultures that the people are constantly exposed to and because of this the sandwich has become a staple in the New Orleans community. 

Summary: Today we watch the documentary about New Orleans cooking. 

Reflection: Around the world there are many different cultures and these cultures have a variety of different foods that come from other places around the world but have become traditional in that place.When looking at different cultures around the world it's important to understand what these foods are so you can broaden  your Horizons.

 prompt: Over the break I went to help volunteer at a local food shelter. Doing this was something that I am regularly doing this year, but I hadn't done it over Thanksgiving break before.  Prompt: I spent my break spending time with my family. I find the aspect of family to be very important so I made sure to spend to most time I could being with them.  Prompt: The thing that I most enjoyed about the class was the group projects that we got to do. I loved the people that I worked with in those projects and it allowed for me to spend time with them in the class which made it so much fun. Overall I don't think that there is really an area that I need help with. The assignments in the class were always something that I could manage, the only thing that I needed help with was making sure that I did the assignments, but I have already communicated a strategy with my friends to help make sure that I am on top of my assignments.  Summary: Today I slept in and I was able to finish all of the work I had to do for the rest of the semester.  Reflection: Now that we are at the end of the year it is important to look back and see all of the things that went well and didn't go well in the semester to help you communicate with your teachers for next year to see if they can help you make the year a better one!
