How did the writing process (brainstorming, drafting, revising, proofreading, and finalizing) shape the strength of the final essay, and what was learned about your personal strengths and areas for growth as a writer?

Prompt: I think that when figuring out what I wanted to write on my essays, finding the topics and what I wanted to connect my argument to before I started writing the essay helped me a lot. Finding the evidence before also helped me a lot when I actually had to write, because I was able to think about what I wanted to write and how I would connect it the day before. This overall helped me have a better understanding of what I wanted to write and how I would do it.

Summary: We wrote out essays

Reflection: Writing is something that I find easy depending on what style it is, It can be very challenging sometimes, but having a way to prepare before and better understand what I need to write is something that I find to be very helpful.

Discuss something meaningful or memorable you experienced over the break, or reflect on what you felt most thankful for during that time.

As the first semester comes to an end, take time to reflect on your learning and growth in this course. In a well-developed response, explain what you enjoyed most about the class, identify the project or assignment you found most engaging, and discuss which aspect of the course you connected with the most (such as poetry, fiction, writing, or discussion). Finally, reflect on one area where you feel you need additional support or improvement as we move into the spring semester.
