As we move toward the end of the semester, what are your top three college choices right now? Identify the colleges and explain why you are attracted to each one. Even if college is not currently on your radar, you must still respond to the question and explain your thinking.

Prompt: My top 3 choices are: Emory, Bowdoin, and GCSU. I like Emory because of its proximity and the resources that they provide to the medical field. I like Bowdoin because it is up in Maine and I love Maine, but I also like the student life they have there. Finally I like GCSU because it is not too far away, it is pretty reasonably priced and they have good resources available.

Summary: I was absent.

Reflection: When looking at colleges it is important to not hyper fixate on a specific college because there are so many factors at play that could cause you to not want to go there. It is important to have several different options!

Discuss something meaningful or memorable you experienced over the break, or reflect on what you felt most thankful for during that time.

As the first semester comes to an end, take time to reflect on your learning and growth in this course. In a well-developed response, explain what you enjoyed most about the class, identify the project or assignment you found most engaging, and discuss which aspect of the course you connected with the most (such as poetry, fiction, writing, or discussion). Finally, reflect on one area where you feel you need additional support or improvement as we move into the spring semester.

In "The Lamb" and "The Tyger", both poems suggest that beauty and danger can come from the same source. Describe a time when something or someone you admired also scared or challenged you. How did that experience change the way you see the world or the idea of “goodness”?
