Reflect on a time when you had to rely on someone else. How did it feel?

Prompt: One time I had to rely on my friends to make sure that I would get me to do my work. Back in sophomore year I would always procrastinate my work and delay it as much as I could. This was a problem because that means I would always be stressed. I asked my friends to remind me to do my work all the time and I had to rely on them to do so, or I would forget. This made me feel upset that I had to rely on other people to help me with simple tasks, but I was also grateful that they were there to help me.

Summary: Today we read Wild.

Reflection: It is important to have times where you can rely on  others, it is so common that people don't ask for help when they need it because they think that people will judge them, but once they ask for help they realize that it is so amazing to have it. Just asking people for help can show you how much they care for you and create a stronger bond between them.

Discuss something meaningful or memorable you experienced over the break, or reflect on what you felt most thankful for during that time.

As the first semester comes to an end, take time to reflect on your learning and growth in this course. In a well-developed response, explain what you enjoyed most about the class, identify the project or assignment you found most engaging, and discuss which aspect of the course you connected with the most (such as poetry, fiction, writing, or discussion). Finally, reflect on one area where you feel you need additional support or improvement as we move into the spring semester.

In "The Lamb" and "The Tyger", both poems suggest that beauty and danger can come from the same source. Describe a time when something or someone you admired also scared or challenged you. How did that experience change the way you see the world or the idea of “goodness”?
