Creating a video is more than just placing pictures together—it’s about capturing a feeling. Explain how you tried to bring your assigned letter to life in your Adobe Express video. What mood were you aiming for, and how did your editing choices help you communicate the message or emotion of the letter?

Prompt: When I was working through creating the video I wanted to create a feeling of sorrow and unease that Celie felt while writing this letter. Using the videos I was given I talked about how she wasn't always the brightest student at her school, because of this her father removed her from school. I am aiming for, a more solemn mood to show how Celie still wanted to learn even though her father didn't want her too. The music and editing choices that I used showed a calm yet sorrowful feel to it. This helped show the message that she was upset.

Summary: Today in class we watched the Color Purple Video's

Reflection: Seeing all of the different videos that we watched and seeing how everyone was able to create a video based on the letter they were given. This was good to watch to better understand what each letter is about. Having a fellow peer talk about something can make it easier to understand the content of the letter or subject.

Discuss something meaningful or memorable you experienced over the break, or reflect on what you felt most thankful for during that time.

As the first semester comes to an end, take time to reflect on your learning and growth in this course. In a well-developed response, explain what you enjoyed most about the class, identify the project or assignment you found most engaging, and discuss which aspect of the course you connected with the most (such as poetry, fiction, writing, or discussion). Finally, reflect on one area where you feel you need additional support or improvement as we move into the spring semester.

In "The Lamb" and "The Tyger", both poems suggest that beauty and danger can come from the same source. Describe a time when something or someone you admired also scared or challenged you. How did that experience change the way you see the world or the idea of “goodness”?
