Write about a time when you did something out of the norm? What was it and how did others react?

Prompt: The one time I did something out of the norm was when I decided I wanted to wear makeup. This is normally seen a something that men are not supposed to do. I asked one of my friends to help do it for me and they agreed. This allowed for me to be able to go out. When I went out a few people gave me some weird looks but most people either ignored it or said I looked good.

Summary: Today we read and wrote notes on a short poem called "I am nobody, Who are you?"

Reflection: I think that today's lesson was good because we discussed how if a person is always trying to conform to society than they are always going to be wasting energy on that rather than focusing on being themselves and standing out.

Who am I? I am a person who used to try to conform to society and try to "fit in" until I realized that I should spend my energy being myself.

Discuss something meaningful or memorable you experienced over the break, or reflect on what you felt most thankful for during that time.

As the first semester comes to an end, take time to reflect on your learning and growth in this course. In a well-developed response, explain what you enjoyed most about the class, identify the project or assignment you found most engaging, and discuss which aspect of the course you connected with the most (such as poetry, fiction, writing, or discussion). Finally, reflect on one area where you feel you need additional support or improvement as we move into the spring semester.

In "The Lamb" and "The Tyger", both poems suggest that beauty and danger can come from the same source. Describe a time when something or someone you admired also scared or challenged you. How did that experience change the way you see the world or the idea of “goodness”?
