 Prompt Response: Though there is not a lot from my culture. There are some things that we are told to do and not do. These different things tell us how to eat and drink and what we can and cannot wear. This shapes how I am supposed to live and how to navigate throughout life. 

Summary: We read the short story Girl by Jamaica Kincaid and discussed how culture affects out lives. 

reflection: I think that today's lesson was very important to learn. I think that each person should learn how it is to live another  person's life and see how their culture affects them. This can show us what the hardships and easy parts of a person's life are.
