Describe a time when you felt completely lost.

Prompt: There have been many times that I have felt fully lost. One of these times was when I was working on my math work. During this time I wasn't fully understanding the subject and what we were doing in this class and the teacher wouldn't help me with the work. So when I went home to do the homework I was fully lost and I wasn't able to finish the work because I didn't understand how to do it. There have been other times though but that was one of the most reoccurring ones.

Summary: We presented our cultural masks to the class and described what each element of the mask meant to us.

Reflection: I think that hearing about the different cultures that each person in this class was a very good thing to do. I learned more about each person on a personal level and I feel like because of that we were able to become closer to each other.

Discuss something meaningful or memorable you experienced over the break, or reflect on what you felt most thankful for during that time.

As the first semester comes to an end, take time to reflect on your learning and growth in this course. In a well-developed response, explain what you enjoyed most about the class, identify the project or assignment you found most engaging, and discuss which aspect of the course you connected with the most (such as poetry, fiction, writing, or discussion). Finally, reflect on one area where you feel you need additional support or improvement as we move into the spring semester.

In "The Lamb" and "The Tyger", both poems suggest that beauty and danger can come from the same source. Describe a time when something or someone you admired also scared or challenged you. How did that experience change the way you see the world or the idea of “goodness”?
