Much of this section focuses on Cheryl’s physical exhaustion and discomfort. Describe a moment when your body limited what you could do, and explain what that experience taught you about your mental strength.
Prompt: When I was hiking at Philmont there was a part of the hike we had to do on day 3 that was all uphill. This part of this hill was at a 70 degree angle and spanned for 2 miles. This was the day that I chose to be in the front of the group. Doing this hill was extremely difficult and I had to take many breaks to prevent myself from becoming too exhausted. This was due to my body not being used to hiking that high so quickly. This taught me that I needed to rely on my mental strength to keep me going. This also at the time increased my mental strength.
Summary: Today we read Wild and worked on an assignment.
Reflection: When your body limits what you can do it is important to understand why you can't complete the task and try to see if there is a work around to finish it without hurting yourself. This is super important to help you understand your body and its limitations and what you should do to increase your limits.
