What would you do: tell your friend to confess, tell their partner yourself, or stay quiet? Explain your choice, using ideas about loyalty and consequences from Fences. How might your decision affect everyone involved?

Prompt: I would tell my partner. I chose this because it would be the right thing to do. Even though it may cause you to loose your relationship or bring it to a rocky state it would be better to tell your partner now rather than let it build up and become worse later. This would affect my partner and the people around me because it would show that I don't love my partner enough anymore for them to be my only person in my life but it would show that I am willing to be open about it.

Summary: Today we continued to read fences and started working on our project.

Reflection: I think that today's lesson was important because it showed us about the different lives that people have. This can show how cheating on someone you love can lead to problems in your relationships.

Discuss something meaningful or memorable you experienced over the break, or reflect on what you felt most thankful for during that time.

As the first semester comes to an end, take time to reflect on your learning and growth in this course. In a well-developed response, explain what you enjoyed most about the class, identify the project or assignment you found most engaging, and discuss which aspect of the course you connected with the most (such as poetry, fiction, writing, or discussion). Finally, reflect on one area where you feel you need additional support or improvement as we move into the spring semester.

In "The Lamb" and "The Tyger", both poems suggest that beauty and danger can come from the same source. Describe a time when something or someone you admired also scared or challenged you. How did that experience change the way you see the world or the idea of “goodness”?
